Selective travellers choose the Harbour view cottage for several reasons. It may be its historical character and romantic charm, its handy location and ease of access, its independence and self-contained characteristics, its quietness and relaxed atmosphere or just the facts that we are eco and pet-friendly. But what makes us truly unique is our attention to details in providing a professional and friendly customised service to our guests as well as a real sense of “Value-for-money”.
We offer 2 types of accommodations:
The Kauri colonial Cottage A stand alone unit featuring open-plan living with kitchenette, mezzanine bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Offering garden views and glimpse of the Manukau Harbour, It accommodates up to 4 guests. From $170 / night
The Harbourview Homestead is spacious and accommodates up to 6 persons in three separate rooms. Fully or partly serviced. Weekly rental only. From $3,000 / week
The location
Situated in the heart of Auckland on the historical hill of Onehunga Heights , our cottage facing the Manukau Harbour is located nearby all major event and activity centers of the city. You will access almost everything within 20 minutes.
Being only 12 minutes from Auckland International Airport, The Harbour View Cottage is ideal as your first (or last) Port-O-Call in New Zealand.
Access to Auckland CBD and Ferry terminal is also only 20 minutes by train.
The old village of Onehunga, which used to be the center of Auckland 160 years ago is just a few minutes walk.. and if you like Rugby, it is 10 minutes from the All Black 'temple' of Eden Park...

Activities & Dining
Once you arrive at HarbourView Cottage, you are only minutes away from Jellicoe Park outdoor and indoor swimiming pools and fitness center. It is worth the few minutes walk to One Tree Hill, the largest farm city park in New Zealand and enjoy the best panoramic views over Auckland and it's region.
There is always something going on at the Theatres, race courses, museums, Casino, concert halls, and stadiums within 20 minutes from us.
Auckland also offers an incredible variety of restaurants from casual ethnic food to Gourmet dining. A pic-nic in a Park could also be a great summer alternative. We will be happy to guide you in making the right choice.
